I know it’s only day 2 off the sauce, but I had an amazing weekend that I genuinely enjoyed more than a weekend in a long time.
Yesterday I occupied myself with a cinema trip in the evening to see The Hobbit and then collapsed into bed. I woke up at 6:30am feeling refreshed, got some great weight training done, went for a fab 6 mile walk and stopped off at a cosy pub. Eyeing up everyone’s huge glasses of red wine was tough, but I had a delicious cup of tea and forgot about the wine as soon as I had drink in hand.
Tonight we’re cooking lasagne, which would usually make me want wine, but because today was so lovely, I didn’t need it.
Feeling today will be a good balance of not taking my calories too low but having done some good exercise.
Starting a new job tomorrow, which means plenty of opportunity to slip up through stress, but also plenty of opportunities to stay in control. Here’s hope the diet stays good.
Today’s food intake has been:
- Scrambled eggs on rye bread
- Slice of melon
- 1/2 Butternut squash soup with spinach
- 50g of tofu
- 1/3 Kitkat Chunky
- apple
- 2 x coffee 2 x tea
- Lasagne & salad
- Low fat fruit yoghurt
Exercise:
- 45 min Body Conditioning
- 6 mile walk
